Research & Logistics FAQ
Quality Assurance & Testing
How is material purity verified?
Every batch undergoes comprehensive testing via HPLC and Mass Spectrometry analysis. Certificates of Analysis (COA) are provided for all scientific reference materials.
Can I request batch-specific testing data?
Yes. Registered researchers can access lot-specific documentation through our testing portal using the batch number found on the product packaging.
Fulfillment & Logistics
What are your standard lead times for domestic fulfillment?
Orders are generally processed within 24–48 laboratory hours. Standard logistics providers typically deliver within 3–5 business days depending on location.
Are materials shipped under temperature-controlled conditions?
Lyophilized peptides are chemically stable at ambient temperatures for short-term transit. For sensitive compounds, we utilize cold-chain logistics solutions upon request.
Handling & Stability
What are the recommended storage protocols?
Lyophilized materials should be stored in a dry, light-protected environment at -20°C for optimal long-term stability. For short-term laboratory use, storage at 2-8°C is acceptable.
Can reconstituted materials be refrozen?
We advise against multiple freeze-thaw cycles as this can significantly degrade chemical purity. Reconstituted materials should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C.
Institutional Relations
Do you offer specialized accounts for research facilities?
Obsidian Research Labs provides dedicated account management for academic and private research institutions, including verified facility fulfillment and longitudinal batch tracking.
Is procurement available for international laboratories?
We facilitate international supply for authorized research entities, subject to local customs regulations and scientific material import protocols.
